Thoughts on a Continent

I am an African. Perspective and focus determine the magnitude of what this means. We need to tell our good stories using that which is at our disposal. Just as a woman wakes up, washes up and adorns herself, accentuating her beauty so she can walk with greater dignity and favour in the community we must speak louder of the positive goings-on in the Continent. This has the power to inspire us to do more good and achieve more excellently. This also has the power to re-ignite our dignity, pride and self determination. We must inspire a different image to what we have inspired before, when one hears the word "Africa".
